Swedish military warns of rising Russian threat to Ukraine aid transports

Russia is intensifying attempts to sabotage Swedish transports of aid to Ukraine, Sweden’s military logistics chief has warned.
Brigadier General Lars O Jonsson told Sveriges Radio that the threat was increasing as Sweden continued supplying Ukraine. Sweden has donated 20,000 tonnes of defence equipment and supplies since 2022, the broadcaster reported.
Jonsson described an escalating threat to the transport operation. The report does not establish that any particular Swedish shipment was successfully sabotaged.
