SMHI warns seven counties of 30–60 mm downpours tonight
SMHI has issued yellow warnings for downpour-like rain across parts of seven counties from Saturday evening, with 30–60 millimetres possible locally in a short time.

The warnings cover northern Värmland and Örebro, parts of Västmanland and Dalarna, plus parts of Jämtland, Gävleborg and Västernorrland. The northern warning starts at 18:00 on Saturday; the western warning starts at 22:00.
SMHI says basements, stormwater systems, roads and underpasses may flood. Residents are told to clear gutters and drains, move vulnerable items, avoid driving through standing water and allow extra travel time.
There is also a risk of thunder. SMHI says local variation will be large and where the heaviest rain falls remains uncertain. The northern warning ends at 05:00 Sunday; the western warning at 09:00.
