SMHI expands Norrbotten high-flow warning through Thursday
SMHI has expanded its yellow high-flow warning into central Norrbotten and extended the alert through Thursday, increasing the area where roads, buildings and underpasses could flood.

The new area took effect at noon on Tuesday. Both central and eastern warnings now run until 00:00 on Friday, according to SMHI's update.
Heavy rain is lifting streams and smaller rivers. SMHI tells people not to drive through water, to protect property in exposed areas and to clear storm drains and other waterways.
The agency says fast-moving water can be dangerous and that the heaviest rain may fall in different places than forecast. The earlier warning covered eastern Norrbotten; Tuesday's update added central parts of the county.
