Tidö cuts opposition poll lead to 4.7 points
Sweden's election race has tightened after the Tidö parties cut the opposition's lead nearly in half in Sveriges Radio Ekot's latest Indikator Opinion poll, with 18 days to go.

Support for M, SD, KD and L totals 46.6%, up from 44.7% in June. S, V, MP and C total 51.3%, down from 53.6%. That narrows the gap from 8.9 to 4.7 percentage points, although the opposition remains ahead.
The shift is spread across several small party moves. M rises 1.2 points to 18.9%, SD 0.5 to 19.7% and L 0.5 to 2.2%, while KD slips 0.3 to 5.8%. On the opposition side, S falls 1.2 points to 31.3% and C 1.1 to 5.9%; V slips 0.2 to 7.6% and MP gains 0.2 to 6.5%.
Indikator drew a random sample of 4,296 voting-eligible adults and received 1,824 responses from 6 to 23 August by post, web and telephone. The results were weighted by sex, age and 2022 vote. The published material gives no numerical margin of error, undecided share or voter-flow table, so individual changes should be read cautiously. A poll measures voting intention, not the election result.
