The new total is twice the five cases in DailySweden's report on Saturday. The SVT update says all 10 cases are now linked to the festival, held north of Sollefteå from 30 July to 1 August. They have been reported in Jämtland Härjedalen, Skåne, Stockholm, Västerbotten, Gotland and Värmland.
The agency says festivalgoers should watch for high fever, dry cough, red light-sensitive eyes and a rash that starts on the face. Anyone who suspects measles should phone healthcare or 1177 before visiting a clinic. Two vaccine doses offer very good protection, and the agency still assesses the risk of a larger outbreak as low because vaccination coverage is around 95%.
