Skånetrafiken will stop selling half-price 30-day tickets after Monday, 2 November. Passengers can still activate tickets bought that day until 2 December, giving them 30 days of travel from activation.

The regional transport operator sets out the two deadlines in its purchase guidance. Every discounted 30-day ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase; buying earlier means an earlier activation deadline.

For passengers who want to cover successive travel periods, Skånetrafiken gives the example of buying two separate tickets on 2 November. The second must still be activated by 2 December.

There is a distinction to watch when buying: choose one adult and two tickets, rather than two adults. The latter creates a joint ticket for two people instead of two tickets to use one after the other.
