SMHI's latest warning says flooding could affect regionally important roads and many buildings in Boden municipality through 23:59 on Sunday. A yellow high-flow warning also continues across eastern Norrbotten through Sunday.

Trafikverket says enormous rainfall has undermined roads, reduced access and forced some routes to close while contractors carry out repairs.

SVT reported that road 740 between Puottaure and Tuortaur is expected to stay shut until Monday afternoon, while road 356 between Brandklappen and Langberg is forecast to reopen on Sunday. One lane on road 761 was also closed.

SMHI warns people not to drive through floodwater and to protect vulnerable properties. Water levels were still rising in Boden on Friday evening.
