How lower-paid Swedish jobs can still support a work permit

Sweden's new work-permit salary floor can shut many vacancies out. A separate exception now keeps selected occupations and applicant groups in play, but the job title alone does not settle it.

The standard floor is currently SEK 34,470 a month. For an exempt occupation or applicant group, the reduced 75% level is SEK 28,725 a month. Migrationsverket's permit guide says pay must still match the
