A screenshot from her verified Instagram Story reads: “And of course we’re voting left this autumn!” Larsson did not name a party. Gaffa reported that she posted the message on Tuesday.

The Left Party then shared the post on TikTok, according to Gaffa. The distinction matters: Larsson called for a vote for the broader left, while the party chose to amplify her message in its own campaign channel.

Her intervention arrived as voting began. Advance voting opened on 26 August and election day is 13 September, Valmyndigheten says.
