Confidence in Ulf Kristersson rose seven percentage points to 45 per cent in a new survey, while Nooshi Dadgostar’s rating fell eight points to 11 per cent. Kristersson recorded his highest result in the series; Dadgostar her lowest since becoming Left Party leader in 2020.

The SVT/Verian survey, published on 22 October, put Christian Democrat leader Ebba Busch second on 41 per cent, down one point. Social Democrat Magdalena Andersson rose three points to 40 per cent.

Sweden Democrat leader Jimmie Åkesson reached 33 per cent, up two points. Green spokesperson Amanda Lind rose to 24 per cent, Liberal leader Simona Mohamsson to 20 per cent, and Green spokesperson Daniel Helldén to 13 per cent. Centre leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist remained on 18 per cent.

The survey measures confidence in leaders, rather than how respondents would vote. It used responses from 1,054 people aged 18–84 in the randomly recruited, nationally representative Sifo panel, collected from 14 to 16 October.

The published figures do not establish why respondents changed their views or whether every small movement exceeds sampling uncertainty.
