A track fault near Västerås is delaying trains on several routes, including Stockholm–Gothenburg via Västerås. Normal traffic is expected to resume at 05:00 on Tuesday, 6 October.

Trains are sharing one track between Dingtuna and Kolbäck/Hallstahammar, according to Trafikverket’s current notice, updated at 06:08 on Monday. The disruption began at 02:39.

The affected routes also include Västerås–Fagersta/Ludvika and Uppsala–Eskilstuna via Västerås. The notice lists stations across the connected routes, including Enköping, Köping, Örebro and Skövde.

Check the information for your specific departure before travelling. Trafikverket says it will update individual departures as more information becomes available; the Tuesday morning time is an estimate for a return to normal traffic.
