Several people injured in sword attack at school in Fagersta
Several people were injured after a man armed with a sword entered Brinellskolan, an upper secondary school in Fagersta, shortly after 14:00 on Friday, according to Fagersta municipality.

Police and rescue services were alerted at 14:06 to what police classified as ongoing deadly violence, SVT reported. A suspected man was taken into custody.
Region Västmanland said two boys under 18 were seriously injured but in stable condition. One was undergoing emergency surgery. At least one additional injured person had an unclear condition.
Brinellskolan has just under 500 pupils. Students there and at several other schools in Fagersta sheltered inside while the emergency response was under way.
The municipality and Region Västmanland activated emergency coordination. A crisis centre opened at Risbrohallen for students, relatives and others needing support.
The municipality postponed a planned 17:00 press conference because the rescue operation was still under way. Police have not announced a motive.
