Pourmokhtari wants 12-month permits for green factories
Romina Pourmokhtari wants permit decisions for fossil-free industrial projects capped at 12 months after a complete application, under a Liberal election package proposing 10–15 state-prepared acceleration zones.

The zones would come with land, broad environmental assessments, infrastructure and grid planning prepared in advance. The party says environmental standards would remain while duplicate work was cut and delays published.
The package also promises a permanent premium for municipalities hosting new nuclear power, state-funded infrastructure and regional training hubs. Households would get lower tax on vehicle-charging electricity, better mileage allowances for electric cars, broader green-technology deductions and tax-free employer-paid local or regional public-transport passes.
The plan was published on 30 August and presented as a Liberal election promise, not a Government decision. The party did not name the proposed zones or publish legislation, start dates, an overall cost, the size of the nuclear premium or the proposed tax rates.
