Measles cases hit 35 as secondary infections double
Sweden's measles outbreak has climbed to 35 confirmed cases, including six people infected after contact with someone who attended the Urkult festival.

The Public Health Agency said on Thursday that 29 cases were linked to transmission at the festival and the maximum 21-day incubation window from exposure there has now passed.
Cases have been reported in nine Swedish regions. Stockholm has 10, Jämtland Härjedalen and Västerbotten six each, Gotland four, Sörmland three, Skåne and Värmland two each, and Västernorrland and Västra Götaland one each. Finland has reported one further case.
Most patients are school-age children or young adults, and most were unvaccinated. The agency says anyone who suspects measles should phone healthcare before visiting a clinic, to avoid exposing others. People can call 1177 for symptom advice.
