Left Party vows to vote against any government that excludes it
The Left Party will vote against any Swedish government that needs its seats but leaves it outside the cabinet, leader Nooshi Dadgostar said, restating an ultimatum 16 days before the election.

“If a government needs our seats, we should be part of it,” Dadgostar told TT in an interview published by SvD. She said she expects a Social Democrat-led coalition with V and the Greens, while accepting the Centre Party if its seats are required for a majority.
Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson has not expressed interest in putting V in government. She recently said the party had “a big job to do” and that repeated controversies involving V representatives worried her, according to the report. Dadgostar argues the next parliament's arithmetic will force a negotiation.
SVT's analysis says V is prepared to take the demand into government formation if its seats are decisive, but adds that Dadgostar has little leverage if S finds another majority.
Under Parliament's rules, a proposed prime minister is rejected only if at least 175 MPs vote no. The demand therefore matters only if V's votes are necessary and no rival majority can be assembled.
