Rough weather delays Gotland ferries into Saturday

Rough weather has delayed Gotland’s ferry links to the mainland, pushing Friday night’s Nynäshamn–Visby departure back by more than three hours and changing a Saturday morning sailing.

Destination Gotland’s traffic notice, updated at 15:42 on Friday 9 October, moves the 20:10 departure from Nynäshamn to 23:30, with arrival in Visby at 03:00. The afternoon Visby–Nynäshamn sailing moves from 16:00 to 19:00.

On the Oskarshamn route, Friday’s departure from Visby moves from 16:20 to 17:00, and the return sailing from 20:10 to 20:50. Saturday’s 07:45 Visby–Oskarshamn ferry is now due to leave at 09:30.

SMHI’s yellow warning for northwestern Gotland and Fårö runs until 20:00 on Friday. It warns of strong gusts and possible disruption from fallen trees and branches.

Passengers should check Destination Gotland’s live departure information before heading to the terminal, as the listed times may change.
