Fallen overhead wire stops trains at Göteborg Central

A fallen overhead wire stopped all trains into and out of Göteborg Central on Monday morning, disrupting journeys through one of Sweden’s main rail interchanges.
The fault occurred at 09:55, SVT reports, citing Trafikverket. The authority said staff were on site and hoped to let some trains through at reduced capacity, but had no forecast for completing repairs.
Trafikverket had not established how the wire came down. Passengers should check their operator’s current information and the authority’s live departures before travelling.
