BankID says its service is working again after a disruption on Friday evening affected digital identification and signing in Sweden. The company marked the incident resolved at 19:23 Swedish time.

The provider’s incident record shows an investigating notice at 19:01, followed by the all-clear 22 minutes later. Those are the times of its updates; the record does not specify when the disruption began.

A BankID spokesperson told TT, in a report carried by SVT, that the problem had been resolved at about 19:20. The report did not establish how many users were affected.

People whose identification or signing attempts failed can try again. BankID’s status page carries the provider’s current service information.
