Drivers crossing Angeredsbron face lane restrictions over three October weekends, with extra travel time possible while an expansion joint is repaired.

Work began at 8pm on Friday 16 October and is planned for the weekends of 16–19, 23–26 and 30 October–2 November. A fourth weekend, 6–9 November, is held in reserve.

Trafikverket says traffic is restricted to one lane during the night work. Both lanes in each direction are due to open between 11am and 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. All lanes should reopen by 5am each Monday.

Walking and cycling routes remain open. Drivers should allow for longer journeys and check the traffic situation before travelling.

The work repairs the last of the bridge’s four expansion joints, which allow the structure to move. Trafikverket says it is coordinating the work with maintenance on Jordfallsbron to avoid simultaneous closures.
